Last night you were playing outside and running around in the driveway and you were going just a bit too fast and you fell. You fell and kind of bounced on your face a couple of times...you scratched up your forehead, your right eye, your mouth, the left side of your head and a few other little scrapes. Bless your heart, you were such a trooper though...you put the boo-boo pad (a cold pack) on your face and held it there. It's like you knew what to do. You were just so sweet. I know it hurt but you didn't cry for very long and you just kept putting Mr. Happy on your face to help the hurt.

I have a feeling this is just the beginning of the bumps and bruises.....love you sweetie.

Your first haircut!!! I have to admit this was pretty hard for mommie. You're growing up too fast and getting your first hair cut means you are really getting to be a big boy. You did so good. You sat real still at first but the you decided you didn't like the cold scissors touching your neck. But you were a trooper and you did it and as a reward, you had your first dum-dum (sucker). You didn't know what to think about it at first. You just stuck your tongue out a couple of times and kind of licked it and then you just threw it down. That's probably a good thing!!

But you look so grown up with your little hair cut. You just look like a completely different little boy. Your Uncle Brian says you finally look like a little boy. He was just jealous cuz your hair was longer than his!!

It's Valentines Day! and oh what a day it turned out to be. Daddy's car broke down on his way home so I had to go pick him up while you were still at Granny's. Then we went home and at this great dinner daddy had gotten for us and then we had to go back to Cedar Hill to work on daddy's car. While he was working on the car, you and I sat in the Suburban and watched the Jungle Book. You love that movie.

But the really good thing about today is: you have another tooth coming in! Number 8. This in is on the top and it's about mid-way back on the right. This kind of explains why you have had such restless nights lately. We couldn't figure it out before, but now it all makes sense.

You got another tooth! This makes #7. You finally got your two front teeth in around Christmas. They seem to take forever to come in. And then you didn't have anything for awhile. Mommie was beginning to think you weren't going to get anymore...but then today, you have another one. It's on the bottom left, next to your other two bottom teeth. It's kind of strange though because yours usually come in twos and this one is coming in by itself.

You're just growing up so fast....we love you, smoochie.
